Thomas Tuchel Blames The Pitch For Loss

Thomas Tuchel

Thomas Tuchel is not in a good mood at the moment. The Chelsea boss is furious after their loss against Arsenal in their last match. Chelsea has been lackluster this season right from the start. They failed to impress and replicate their heroics from the UEFA Champions League last season.

However, their 4-2 loss against the Gunners was a hard pill to swallow. The loss tasted even bitter as this was the third straight defeat for the Blues in their home territory. However, Tuchel was seen frowning about the pitch at Stamford bridge. He stated that the ground posed a huge barrier for the players.

The manager also said that the statement might sound like a very lame excuse, but that was the truth. Tuchel was asked why he substituted Andreas Christensen after he made a horrendous blunder to hand Arsenal a goal. The manager commented that Andreas faced problems in controlling the ball due to the pitch.

Thomas Tuchel also made it clear that he would not take off a player for a solitary mistake in the game. Let us learn more about the game in detail below.

Thomas Tuchel Unhappy With Stamford Bridge

Thomas Tuchel stated that the bounce on the pitch at Stamford Bridge was extremely uneven. A lot of players also agreed with their coach.
